Short answer: Yes, absolutely!
Longer answer: We will never ask our clients not to try to find a tenant themselves, as we have a clear bias in that we want to be able to charge a tenant find fee!
Important to note: Whilst you may find a tenant yourself, things can get tricky when the process is not managed from beginning to end by one party, especially if there is any conflict at a later date regarding terms agreed.
The systems that we use pull all communication with applicants (and indeed landlords) into one system, from which a report can be generated on request. Furthermore, our maintenance systems are connected to the PRS and DPS, and all of our calls are recorded. In addition, we have specific contact points and important information displayed at key intervals, all designed to ensure that applicants are clear on what is expected of them, and that conflicts are dealt with to the satisfaction of everyone involved. These measures may be impacted if a third party was involved in any of the processes.
